Scenario

You are required to provide a HRM report for a business. It must include recruitment and selection procedure in an ASDA organisation along with the explanation of how an organisation managed its employee's development, made an analysis with examples of best practices from other businesses.

Consider the following issues:

• An explanation of the effectiveness of recruitment and selection strategies in place within the organisation. You must cover the employment law and examples of case law. LO1.
• Critically evaluate how the business manage the development of its employees, suitable example of best practice and the responsibilities of the employee and employer. Provide the relevant theory to compare the different talent management approaches. LO2.
• A Detailed analysation of other HR systems and procedures used in an organisation. LO3.

You are required to include references at least 6 references including 3 books, 2 statistical sources and 2 journals that helps to provide supporting evidence for any assertions that you make.

This task will include learning Outcomes LO1 & LO2 and LO3 and has a 75% weighting towards the assessment for Managing People Module.
