In this reflective pro-forma Negotiation skills are taken, which are used in order to negotiate or bargain with employees. This skill is used as a desirable asset for a job description, but this ability requires the collection of both interpersonal and communication skills, which is helpful in order to get the desired result. The aim of this ability is used in order to avoid conflicts and arguments, as it helps in achieving the desired ground. It is used by people to achieve the best and most desirable outcome for each and every situation.

These skills are used as academic and professional as it is essential for an individual to show their thought and approval of their supervisor and the tutor concerned with the adoption of different approaches (Fuller et. al., 2016). The reason behind choosing this skill is to reflect my statement that I accept that an individual should be aware of the negotiation skills as they are required for both academic purposes as well as in their professional life. Furthermore, this skill is used to keep the point of view in an appropriate manner while also considering the factual information and explanations as a backup plan.

As per my negotiation skills, I do believe that I should enhance my skills and abilities that are concerned with the negotiation. Additionally, I am about to fig out the importance of personality attribute which are needed by an individual. I feel that there is a broad scope in order to improve this skill, as it is important in order to negotiate for achieving long-term success for an individual and also helps in organisational deals in the context of time, price, resources, and many more. Moreover, it is important for collaboration and teamwork, as in order to carry out effective teamwork, it is important to have negotiation skills (Gloss et. al., 2017). Its ability is to take decisions in a participative manner, providing value to the views and opinions of everyone, as it involves the great asset for effective negotiation.

According to me, there is a gap or deviation between how I consider my skill and how others judge me. By considering the score of the bargaining skills test, there are many important features, such as personality factors, magistrate, and many more, that need to be considered while developing or enhancing the competence. Furthermore, by considering the justice of others for my skill, I get a moderate rating from my peers, which quietly matches my view point of my skill with others.

How might this skill help me in the future?

Negotiation skills are helpful for me on a future basis in my academic and professional career. For example, it allows me to provide better deals with stakeholders or investors in order to quote an improved cost, as it helps me in raising my success factor or scope at my workplace. Additionally, by considering the academic and professional, it is helpful for me to develop healthy relationships with others, which helps in contributing a better portfolio in order to help me in ceasing better and befitting opportunities for the future.

The midpoint skill that should be taken in order to develop this pro forma is written communication, as this skill is used to qualify the significance and essential message to the employees in the written form. This skill is considered the imperative skill, which is useful for both academic and professional purposes in order to transfer out the improvement of the personality (Keith et. al., 2016). Through its help, the performance of the staff can be improved by properly conveying the goals and objectives. This skill is implemented with the concession of mail, memoranda, business organization reports, and letters.

It is determined that not every individual is comfortable interacting through the oral medium of communicating, and this factor gives rise to written communication. This skill is used for the professional purpose in order to convey the critical information from one individual to another within the whole business premise. By considering the written communication skill, it is determined that it is an important skill that is concerned with the business as it helps in communicating with a number of people at a time. I chose this skill in order to reflect my suggestions and ideas, as it helps me to express my views in a clear manner (Wolniak and Grebski, 2018). This skill is concerned as the most professional skill apart from oral communication.

This skill is essential for me, as it always helps me put my idea in front of everyone in a clear and synchronic manner. I always practice about my written communicating academic term because I believe that it is an important aspect for personal and professional improvement for a longer period of time. By considering my view point, I am competent enough in this skill, as I make use of figures of instruments in order to deliver important data to people. Here, I strive to make sure that I do not perpetrate any grammatical, writing system, or any kind of error for readers, as they can face trouble while perceiving the message.

I used to take feedback or suggestions based on my work and it is taken from by seniors, peers and many more. In this context, I am extremely qualified in cursive communication and can possess all the important requirements of written format. I have the necessitate skill by which I can easily convey with many people through different ways, such as emails, memos, reports, and many more. In addition to this, my supervisors and my tutor also convey the proper structure in order to communicate in an effective manner.

How might this skill help me in the future?

For future purposes, this skill is helpful for me in order to develop my academic and professional skills. In this context, it would help in making projects and assignments and its aim is to communicate relevant information to the staff or higher authorities of the company.

This ability is helpful for a single person in order to carry out the group activities and tasks of individuals, which helps in developing the coordination and cooperation among the team members. It is an important skill as it helps a person perform their activities in an effective way (Dahlstrom and Nygaard, 2016). With the help of this ability, a single person can easily heighten their public presentation in an effective manner or in a specific period of time.

With the purpose of academic and professional, a person need to undergo the various types of situations and these conditions act as a challenge for individuals. In teamwork, this constraint is important and helps in developing the communication among the team members. Effectiveness in teams is important because it helps in increasing the productivity of the team, and employees do not hesitate in order to delegate their work (Stout-Rostron, 2018). This ability is essential in order to complete tasks in a particular time period of time, as it helps the personnel implement the projects in an effective and efficient manner as per the requirement of the tutor.

My current ability in this relation is that teamwork is not effective, as I lack this skill and am not able to work in a team. This happens because I am quite hesitant in order to show my point of view or perspective in front of another. I fail to react at the same time to my question raised by a team associate and also fail in order to prove that certain suggestions are correct as per my knowledge. Despite this, I fail to work with comfort and ease with other people.

In order to identify the contradictions, I always consider the point of view and opinion of another person who is concerned with my skills and traits. I am that type of person who cannot work in group as I prefer one-on-one working. Moreover, I carry all the essential skills which are required in order to carry out the task in a group yet my prime choice is to execute my performance individually. By considering the opinions and suggestions of my seniors, I am capable of working in a team but do not take any kind of initiative to work in a cooperative way (Hewstone, 2017). Therefore, it is a match between the thought process of mine and others teamwork power.

How might this skill help me in the future?

This skill is helpful for me in the future in order to encounter a number of chances in which I have to work in a team in which employees have different sets of suggestions and sentiments. At some point, teamwork skills help in developing and setting cooperation and coordination with others in order to complete the task within the specific course of time.
