I feel that there is a broad scope in order to improve this skill, as it is important in order to negotiate for achieving long-term success for an individual and also helps in organisational deals in the context of time, price, resources, and many more. Moreover, it is important for collaboration and teamwork, as in order to carry out effective teamwork, it is important to have negotiation skills (Gloss et. al., 2017). Its ability is to take decisions in a participative manner, providing value to the views and opinions of everyone, as it involves the great asset for effective negotiation.

By considering the opinions and suggestions of my seniors, I am capable of working in a team but do not take any kind of initiative to work in a cooperative way (Hewstone, 2017).
